Christmas 2015

Harper was very excited for Christmas morning this year!
After she woke up, she immediately asked to go downstairs.
She ran to see what Santa brought.
Harper had asked Santa for a Puppy Surprise doll.
Some other favorite gifts were her own mailbox
an Elsa cape and mask
Doc McStuffins legos
and a Mickey Mouse bowling set.
She loved her Frozen karaoke machine
and loved driving her car to get the mail.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we baked cookies for Santa!
Harper was so excited to use the mixer.
She rolled out the dough
and cut the cookies.
Harper carefully placed the cookies on the pan.
Soon, we were ready to decorate!
Our candy cane looked great!
Santa, the cookies are ready!

December fun

We've been busy getting ready for Christmas.
On December 5, we attended The Nutcracker Tea Party at the Ritz Charles.
All of the kids had a great time!
Tonight we went to Zona Rosa.
Harper wanted Ashley to pose for a picture!
Harper enjoyed playing in the igloo
and she really loved visiting with Santa!

A Day With No Plans!

We woke up today and had no plans at all.
I asked Harper what we should do and she had some great ideas!
"Eat breakfast donut store."
Later, Harper decided we should "Go park."
She pretended to be an airplane
and giggled on the swings.
It was a perfect day to play at the park.
We played outside after we got home
and she was so proud of herself as she rode her big girl bike.
After dinner, Harper wanted to
"Go ride Momma's black car. No wear shoes and socks."
We drove around town in our bare feet looking for Christmas lights
while singing Gwinkle Gwinkle Little Star.
We had lots of fun on our day with no plans!

Sunday FUNday!

Today was our first day at Kearney United Methodist Church.
During Harper's bath, we talked about how Harper would
go to Sunday School with the other kids while Momma went to church.
She was very teary and nervous.  When we got to church, I showed
her where I would be, then took her to her classroom.
She saw the other kids playing and immediately ran
inside before I even got her signed in.  She waved and smiled
as I walked back down the hallway.  She played and listened to a bible story
and colored and had a snack.  Then Momma was back!
We played outside in the afternoon.  The weather was so nice,
we decided to have a picnic for dinner.
Harper wasn't afraid to do the big slide.
What a fun day!

Halloween 2015

Harper had a great Halloween!
This is the first year that she really understood trick or treating.
She loved knocking on doors and getting candy!
We went to a few houses in our neighborhood,
then headed home so we could pass out candy.
Harper was so excited to eat her candy,
but she shared with Grandpa and Grandma too!
Happy Halloween!

Power Play

After speech therapy, Harper and I
decided to check out Power Play.
Most of the games at Power Play were geared towards older kids,
but we had a good time anyway.
There was an area for younger kids with an inflatable.
Harper loved pushing the buttons to make the balloon go.
She seemed to know what bowling was
and cheered when she knocked down the pins.
She liked hitting the ghosts
and stomping on the bugs.
Harper won quite a few tickets and really enjoyed choosing her prizes.
She picked a small stuffed pig, some M & M's, and a watermelon ring pop.

Time to Carve the Pumpkin!

Harper was super excited to carve the pumpkin this year.
She did much of it herself!
Ashley didn't seem quite as excited.
Harper chose Curious George
Happy Halloween!
