The Discovery Room at Prairiefire Museum

We had loads of fun today at the Discovery Room at Prairiefire Museum.

We met with two other families who have adopted from China.

Harper had a great time!

She got to try some binoculars

and dig for dinosaur bones.

She had a tea party with her new friend, Stella

and pretended to drive on the moon.

Harper was very interested in the butterflies

and built a praying mantis with Ashley.

She played mancala with Stella

and her favorite part was using the magnifying glass to look at the rocks.

Afterwards, we grabbed a snack with our new friends!

We had new pictures taken back in November and I'm finally taking the time to add them to the blog!

Messy Mania!

Last night we went to Messy Mania at Harper's school.

I'm pretty sure they created this event just for Harper.

She loves sensory play and she really loves getting messy!

Harper and Daddy had fun playing in a big pool of dirt!

 Harper loved washing the dishes.

She jumped right in, even though there were a lot of other kids.

There was a big tub of rice that was similar to her bean bucket.

We had a great time at messy mania!

A trip to the park in January!

It was 64 degrees today, so we decided to stop

at Penguin Park on our way home from speech therapy.

It was so great to be outside!

 

Harper ran and played and even walked on the balance beam.

She loved all the slides

and driving the bus.

We had a great time playing at the park today!

Harper's 4th Birthday Party

We celebrated Harper's 4th birthday at Mercury Gymnastics.

Harper was so excited to see her friends from school!

First, everyone played.  The kids loved all the trampolines.

Then we had cupcakes and cookies.

We opened presents.

Harper had so much fun playing

and hanging out with her friends and family!

Harper's 4th Birthday!

Harper had a great 4th birthday! She couldn't wait to open presents.

We spent the entire day relaxing and playing with new toys.

She loved dancing with her singing Elsa doll.

She zoomed through the house on her scooter.

Monkey got to ride in the new stroller.

We sang Happy Birthday and ate cake.

Later that night, we played video games on the LeapTV system.

Being 4 is lots of fun!
