Cold Winter Days

We try to keep Harper busy on these cold winter days

so she won't spend too much time playing on the iPad.

She likes to paint

and host tea parties for her monkey.

She loves Play-doh.

Harper likes hanging out at the library

and playing in her kitchen.

She likes dipping Oreos in milk with Daddy

and riding her scooter.

We spend lots of time reading books too!

Valentine's Day 2015

Harper was very excited to show us her valentines and candy from friends at school!

First, we opened Valentine's Day gifts.

Then we decided to take Harper roller skating.

She loved watching everyone else skate

but was not interested in skating herself!

It was obvious that she wasn't having fun, so we decided to

head to McDonalds to play and eat ice cream!

We finished off the day with a heart shaped pizza!

 

A Busy Weekend

On Friday night, we went to the KC Remodel and Garden Show.

Harper loved this "choo-choo".

When I asked her if she was going to be a farmer when she grew up, 

Harper said "astronaut".

On Saturday afternoon, we went to see Disney Pirates & Princesses at the Independence Events Center.

 The show featured two of Harper's favorite Disney Junior shows--Sophia the First

and Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

What a fun weekend!

Sesame Street Let's Dance

Tonight we went to see Sesame Street Let's Dance at the Sprint Center.

We had front row seats and a Meet & Greet with Elmo and Grover.

I've never seen Harper so excited in her life!

We got to hang out "backstage".

Then it was time for the show.

We couldn't have had better seats!

Harper sang and danced through the entire show!

They sang many of the songs she knows.  This was the Itsy Bitsy Spider.

We had sooooooooo much fun!
