Harvest Farm

While we were visiting Aunt Christy and Lexi,
we also went to Harvest Farm & Pumpkin Patch.
There was a giant maze of hay bales to climb on.
The girls loved the playground
and the corn bins!
Harper fed the goats at the petting zoo.
We had loads of fun at Harvest Farm!

Fort Collins Museum of Discovery

While visiting Fort Collins, we decided to check out
the Museum of Discovery.
Everything is hands on, so Harper and Lexi had a great time.
A lot of the exhibits focused on music.

Harper was so sweet singing Jesus Loves Me.
There was an art section.
Harper loved the water area.
She giggled while spraying water to make music play.
There was a giant train section
and a tornado chamber.  Harper decided to
get out at 71 mph winds.

Estes Park

Harper and I wanted to see the mountains,
so we took a day trip to Estes Park.
First, we checked out the shops on the strip.
We watched taffy being stretched
and found lots of fun little shops.
Harper wanted her picture with this sign
and this big rooster.
We played at a beautiful park.
After lunch, we ate ice cream!
Next, we went to Jackson's Stables for a trail ride.
Our horse was named Corn dog!
After a beautiful trail ride, we met Christy and Lexi for dinner.
We are having lots of fun in Colorado!

More fun in Denver

After the Children's Museum, we ate lunch at Sam's No. 3.
It was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
Then it was time to see The Denver Zoo.
Harper was excited to find some flamingos!
She stopped to read lots of signs and loved to tell me if we should go left or right.
The giraffes were very tall!
We went for a ride on the train
and finally found the zebras!
We were tired after lots of walking, but Harper had
plenty of energy left for the hotel pool!
We had a busy day and after all of this fun,
Harper and her zebra were tuckered out!

Children's Museum of Denver

Harper and I spent the morning at the Denver Children's Museum.
There were many imaginative play areas.
She drove a firetruck
baked in the kitchen
and worked in the veterinary office.
She made balls float
and played with a spinning top.
Harper learned about kinetics
and went white water rafting.
She was a bit nervous, but decided to climb the 3 story "mountain".
She was so proud when she got to the top!
The museum had a great water section
and loads of art activities too!
We had a great time playing at the Children's Museum!

Urban Air

With heavy hearts, we took the girls out for
some much needed fun this morning.
We jumped
and slid
and played.
We played basketball
and dodge ball
and practiced our cheerleading skills.
We slid more
and jumped more.
We stopped to rest
but mostly we missed our mom and grandma.
She would have loved this day!
