Worlds of Fun

Today Harper and I went to Worlds of Fun!

Harper worked up quite an appetite and ate all of her pizza!

She loved all of the foam balls at Snoopy's Playground.

Harper is always saying, "You in jail!"

so we giggled as she put herself in jail.

We had a great time at Worlds of Fun!

Dance Recital 2017

This year Harper took a Hip Hop Dance class at Studio 320.

She did such a great job at the recital.

Her class was #27 of 32 acts that night, and she was backstage 

with the other kids for a few hours.

When it was finally her turn, she confidently took the stage

and did the dance better than she'd ever done it before!

She made some great friends and picked up some pretty sweet moves!

Families Blessed Picnic 2017

On Sunday we went to the Families Blessed with the 

World's Children picnic at Roe Park in Overland Park.

There were games, a playground, lots of food,

and even a visit from the ice cream truck!

It was a great afternoon for a picnic with friends!

Goodbye Mrs. Kathy

On Friday, we had to say goodbye to Mrs. Kathy

as she is "retiring" so she can care for her elderly mother.

She has been our babysitter since 2012 when Harper came to America.

 I believe that God has a way of dropping people into our lives just when we

need them most.  He knew exactly what Harper needed

and gave us Kathy!  She has been such an important

part of Harper's life and helped her grow into

the sweet and confident girl she is today.

We will miss her sooooooo incredibly much.
