Spring Break 2018

We needed some SUN so we packed up and headed to Cancun!
We had a direct flight on the way down,
and Ashley got us upgraded to First Class!
We were pampered with mimosas, comfy seats, and a full meal.
The view from our room was beyond perfect!
We spent much of our time at the beach.
When we weren't at the beach, we were probably at one of the pools.
The pools are all fabulous and the view of the ocean is so gorgeous.
Harper loved the waterfall in this pool.
We relaxed at Treasure Island
and swam through the fountains.
Harper was much braver in the water this year,
venturing out on her own in deep water.
We never wanted to leave the water,
so we ordered lunch at the pool each day.
Harper would barely stop swimming long enough to grab a bite.
She would holler at us to get a bite ready, then she would run over and eat it
before jumping back into the water.
Every once in a while, Harper would leave the pool to swing at the playground.

In the evenings, we went out into Cancun for dinner.
This is at Ashley's favorite place, Mextreme.
With the pleasant weather, we were always able to dine outside.
There is a market across the street from our resort.
We found scrumptious baked goods for breakfast!
On the way home, Harper charmed her way into the cockpit.
She said when she gets big, she wants to fly airplanes.
Spring Break was perfect in Cancun!

Minnesota Children's Museum

This morning we decided to check out the Minnesota Children's Museum.
They had a special Daniel Tiger exhibit.
Harper loved the trolley
and playing in Music Man Stan's shop.
She quickly figured out that if these blocks were placed in the jukebox, it
would play her favorite Daniel Tiger tunes.
Harper pretended to work in a store
and as a fireman.
When she played in the office area, she filled out the calendar
for March and even put the dates on the correct day of the week (with no help from me.)
She built with blocks
and went down a 4 story slide that was very fast!
Her favorite part of the museum was the pretend car wash!
We really enjoyed the Minnesota Children's Museum!

The Crayola Experience

This morning we started at The Crayola Experience.
There were so many fun things to do!
We made our own crayons
and had so many opportunities to create!
Harper colored and cut her own puzzle
and helped decorate a race car.
She colored
and molded clay
and painted.
Harper colored a picture and brought it to life on the monitors
and laughed and chased an alien that she colored.
We spent a lot of time at the giant indoor playground.
It was super fun at The Crayola Experience!
