On August 13th, we celebrated the 13th anniversary of Harper's adoption.
In the past, we started the day by adopting a bear at Build-a-Bear. This year, Harper decided she was too old for that. Instead, she asked to go shopping at her favorite store -- Five Below!
She shopped and filled a basket with whatever she wanted.
When we got home, she was so excited to check out her haul.
She always insists on immediately cutting the tags off her dolls.
Normally on this day, we go out to eat Chinese food.
This year, she decided we should pick up Chinese food and eat at home.
It was a sunny day, and she knew summer was quickly coming to a close.
She wanted to spend as much time as possible in the pool!
We continued our tradition of gifting her a new charm for her Pandora bracelet.
This year we chose a charm that says "Ohana".
It is the Hawaiian word for family.
