Halloween 2025

 This year Halloween snuck up on us!

We barely had time to carve the pumpkin.

But we got it done!

Harper dressed up as Rumi from K Pop Demon Hunters.

She had lots of fun passing out the candy.

We had quite a few trick or treaters.

Some of Harper's friends from school even came by!

More South Carolina

 We checked out a fun museum called Wonder Works.

There were so many things to do!

We played games

and a giant piano.

We both loved the Bubble Lab.

We raced 

and made some music!

Harper tried out the bed of nails.  I assured her it wouldn't poke her, but I was wrong!

We went to The Hangout for lunch.

Harper ordered a strawberry daiquiri

and mac & cheese with corn on the cob! 

She helped eat my shrimp platter too.

They had a cool Wish Wall. She made a wish

Then put it in the wall so it would come true!

We loved The Hangout!

At Broadway on the Beach, they were ready for Halloween

and had a hay bale maze too!

Myrtle Beach is the mini golf capital of the world,

with over 50 mini golf courses.

At one point, Harper lost her ball.

Luckily we found it a few minutes later!

We will miss Myrtle Beach!

 

South Carolina

 After North Carolina, we headed to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina.

We had a great view of the beach from our hotel room.

Even though we are both afraid of heights, we decided to ride the Skywheel.

We took one last selfie in case we died on the Wheel.

We could see all of the boardwalk shops and the ocean and beach too!

Next, we shopped on the boardwalk.

Harper loved this candy store.

We shopped at the Gay Dolphin souvenir shop

and found a cool old fashioned arcade!

Harper beat me at Connect 4 Basketball.

She won a lot of tickets on the fishing game

and on Plinko too!

We had a blast playing skee ball.

We found a great dinner spot near our hotel.

The food was great and the views were perfect!

We got to swing and listen to the waves

then enjoy warm weather and palm trees on the way back to the hotel.

North Carolina

 Harper and I recently traveled to North Carolina.

We checked out the North Carolina State Fair.

We listened to music

and found Big Smokey.

Our favorite part was Peachey's Donuts!

The donut was sooo good!

We also checked out the Tregembo Animal Park.

We loved the giraffe

and the lemurs

but our favorite part was feeding peanuts to the monkeys.

There was a bowl and a pulley to send the peanuts to the monkeys.

They were so smart and helped move the pulley rope when we weren't fast enough.

We also had a chance to catch up with our friends, Tanya and Molly.

It was so great to see them!
