Siloam Mountain Park

Yesterday, Harper and I went to Siloam Mountain Park.

We played

and had a picnic.

We hiked the trails

and enjoyed the beauty!

The weather was perfect for a day in the park!

Smithville Lake

It finally got hot yesterday, so we headed to Smithville Lake for some fun in the sun!

We went tubing

had a picnic and played cornhole.

Harper was so excited when she scored the winning bag!

We finished the night making s’mores on the campfire!

We are enjoying every moment of the warm weather!

A Fun Spring Day

We haven’t gotten out much recently 

because of coronavirus but the weather today was perfect!

We hopped in the car and headed to Watkins Mill.

We hiked

and explored.

We had a picnic

and flew a kite!

We were having fun so we hiked some more!

Later, we practiced bike riding in the church parking lot.

Harper pedaled for 17 rotations before stopping.  She’s getting better at riding!

We celebrated with ice cream from Sheridan’s!  Harper

chose bananas with Reese’s peanut butter cups mixed in!

Today was a perfect day!

Easter 2020

Because of COVID-19, we had a quiet Easter holiday.

We colored eggs

and they looked beautiful!

The Easter bunny brought a basket full of toys and candy!

We dressed up

and watched our church service on TV.

We watched the new Trolls World Tour movie

and spent the day playing!

Happy Easter!

Cancun Day 4

Today we relaxed at the pools and on the beach.

Harper calls this pool Pirate Island.

We enjoyed the sun

and ate lunch by the pool.

Harper loved the complimentary pool snacks 

especially the fruit kebabs!

After lunch, we headed to the beach.

We played in the waves

and built sand castles.

Then we relaxed some more!  

Harper insisted on sharing Ashley’s chair.

It was time to say goodbye to the beautiful ocean for now.

We had so much fun today!

We went to our favorite restaurant for dinner

and Harper got another “deeeelicious” strawberry daiquiri!

We finished off the night playing Sequence, Uno and eating our traditional cake by the ocean!

What great memories we made!

Cancun Day 3

Today we went to Jungala Waterpark.

Harper loved the wave pool

and the Rainfortress!

There were lots of slides

and water cannons

but her favorite part was relaxing on the lazy river!

We had a great time at Jungala!

Tonight, the girls posed for the annual picture with the Cancun sign.

We chose Hard Rock Cafe for dinner.

It was a perfect night for dinner on the beach

and Harper found all of her favorite foods on the menu- Mac & cheese and fresh fruit!

We had another fabulous day in Cancun!
