Santa!!!!

Today we went to see Santa.  There was no line at all!  Santa was wonderful!  

He suggested that I walk up to him with Harper's back turned toward him, 

place her on his lap and quickly get out of the way of the camera.

Excellent plan Santa!  I followed his directions exactly.

Unfortunately, his elf/ photographer wasn't paying attention.  

Harper sat on Santa's lap for at least 1 minute without crying.

After she started screaming, the elf decided to capture the moment.

She was fine as soon as she was back in Momma and Daddy's arms.

The nearby play area helped her feel better too!

23 months old

Harper is growing up so fast!  She is 23 months old now.

Her favorite restaurant is Noodles & Company.

She likes to help Momma make cookies.

This is her favorite part of helping Momma.

She is big enough to climb the ladder and go down the slide by herself!

We had a dusting of snow today and it is likely the first time Harper has seen snow!

I only worked 2 days this week, so we have had LOTS of play time!

Three Months Together

Today marks 3 months since we walked into the Guangzhou Civil Affairs Office and saw a little girl, all alone in the world, sitting on a tiny stool.   

It was heartbreaking to see this sad baby all by herself.   

She was so quiet and scared. 

Fast forward three months and it is amazing to see 

how many people love and cherish Harper.   

We are so fortunate to have her in our family.

In the 3 months we've been together, we have learned that Harper  loves music and she loves to dance.  She loves books, dolls, and her princess castle.   

She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  

  She loves snuggling and giving kisses.   

She loves watermelon slushes from Sonic.   

She loves taking baths and playing outside. 

 She LOVES her iPad.

 She loves all fruit and can eat an entire banana in less than a minute. 

She is truly delightful and we are so blessed and thankful that we get to be her parents!

Fun filled Saturday

Daddy is away deer hunting, so Momma thought we should

post some pictures in case he misses me!  I hope he has internet access at the farm.

Today, we went shopping at The Legends and ate lunch at the T. Rex Cafe.

I worked hard on my coloring while we waited for our food.

I had cheese bread and macaroni and cheese!  Yummy!

It was 75 degrees in November, so Momma said we HAD to go to the park!

 I love the slides!
