Happy Chinese New Year!

Today is the Chinese New Year.

We put on our Chinese silks

and went out for Chinese food.

Harper shared the broccoli with her monkey.

 Gōng xǐ fā cái!  Happy New Year!

Paradise Park

Daddy had to work today, so Harper and I went to Paradise Park to play.

There is a huge play area with foam balls.

There are lots of rides

and plenty of opportunities for pretend play.

In the library, Harper couldn't understand why the iPads were bolted to the wall.

Harper's favorite part is always the water table.  

Even with the smock, she found a way to completely drench herself.

There is a ball pit

and there are lots of slides!

We had lunch at Harper's favorite place, Noodles & Co.

Harper is such a happy, adventurous child.

We just love her to pieces!

Kaleidoscope

Today we went to Kaleidoscope.  Harper LOVED it!

She was so excited and was running everywhere.

Most of my pictures are blurry, as I caught her running by.

There were so many things to see and do.....

like make a smashy fish face

or color with Daddy.

There were windows to climb through

and light poles to scale.

There were hundreds of tables where you can create art

and mazes and puzzles too.

Harper loved the fruit in the market and kept pretending to eat it.

but mostly she loved coloring with the markers!

We had so much fun at Kaleidoscope!

Next, we went to eat lunch at Fritz's.

Harper played on my phone and watched the trains while we waited for our food.

At Fritz's, customers order food on an old-fashioned phone.

Apparently, Harper thought we needed seconds.

I think she was trying to order a milkshake, but they couldn't understand her.

We had such a fun day at Crown Center!

 

Harper's 3rd Birthday Party!

On Saturday, we celebrated Harper's 3rd Birthday 

with a Bubble Guppies themed party.

Lots of friends and family came to help us celebrate!

Harper didn't want to blow out the candles, so Momma and Daddy helped.

We played games like Pin the Tail on Molly

and Fishketball!  (Harper cheated a little!)

Harper got lots of wonderful presents!

One of her favorites is a ball pit!

Harper's party was Fin-tastic!

Harper's 3rd Birthday

Today is Harper's 3rd Birthday!

She got a new balance bike

and a soccer goal.

She got some blocks and stacked them very high!

Her favorite gift of all was Cuddles the Giggly Monkey.

She laughed and laughed at the monkey's antics.

Being three is lots of fun!
