Mizzou!

Today we went to the Mizzou Campus in Columbia.
Ready to go see Ashley!
Ashley was inducted into the Tau Sigma Academic Honor Society.
Harper was so excited to see Ashley!
The ceremony was pretty short, so Harper didn't have to be still or quiet for very long.
She had a great time on her first trip to MU!

Easter 2014

Aunt Christy and Lexi were in town to help celebrate Easter!
Opening an Easter gift from Grandma and Grandpa Braley
We dyed Easter eggs

and tried out a bubble mower.  Harper is very mechanical.
She kept lying on the ground looking under the mower to see how it works.
On Easter morning, Harper was excited to find her basket.
The weather was perfect, so we went to Tryst Falls.
Harper LOVED the waterfall.
There was plenty of space to run!
Of course, we played at the park!
Harper is getting more independent.  Normally, she wants me to climb on the
playground equipment with her or at least stand right next to it.
Today, she let me sit down while she played.
She even did the swinging bridge by herself!
We had such a fun weekend!

No quiet moments....

Quiet moments are rare in our house.
Harper is constantly on the go.  She loves to explore and see new things.
She was invited to her first birthday party
(that wasn't for a relative or one of our friend's children).
One of the boys in her class, Nick, turned 4 years old.
It was great to meet several of the boys from her class including Carter, Brock, Malachi, and Nick.
We've spent time at the park.
There has been plenty of time for bubbles
and driving the tractor.
Harper loves speeding around on her 4 wheeler
and helping Momma make cookies!
She had a blast playing in the sand
and finally gave in to exhaustion.
Whenever there is a quiet moment in our house, we usually find Harper doing something she isn't supposed to be doing --
like using a box to climb up on the counter!
Harper brings so much fun to our family!
