This morning we flew to Dallas
and went to the Texas State Fair.
We rode rides
did arts and crafts
and drove a duck pedal boat.
I didn't get a picture of us. Most of the boats were
beautiful swans, but somehow Harper and I ended up in an ugly duckling.
We had a lot of fun anyway!
Harper loved the Little Hands on the Farm display.
She planted seeds, drove a tractor, watered the grapes, and fed the chicken.
We watched a couple of shows.
Harper's favorite was the Wild West Pet Palooza.
There were so many great animal tricks!
We met Ronald McDonald after his magic show.
Another favorite was the aquarium display.
Harper's absolute favorite part of the day was petting the stingrays!
Of course we found great food at the Texas State Fair!
We devoured the Deep Fried Reese's with ice cream!
We made a lot of memories at the fair today!
Harper had plenty of energy left so we hit the pool
and giggled and danced to Taylor Swift at dinner.
It took about 20 seconds for her to fall asleep once she hit the bed.
