Big Cottonwood Canyon

We started our last day in Utah off by exploring Big Cottonwood Canyon.

First, we checked out Silver Lake.

Next, we hiked to Donut Falls.  We got almost to the top, but the water level was high and we couldn’t cross so we didn’t get to view the top of the waterfall.  Harper enjoyed the nature walk anyway.

We spent the afternoon with the Higginson family.

First, I got to catch up with my bestie from Jr. High— Lorianne.  It was great to visit with Lori and her sister Lisa and to meet several of their kids.

We went to see Hotel Transylvania III with Nairn, Christy, Lexi, Ethan and Collin.

We grabbed a quick dinner at McDonald’s and went to the park to play.

Harper couldn’t reach the zip line so Collin got down on his hands and knees in the dirt/gravel/sand and let her climb up on his back.  It was the sweetest thing!

Utah was so beautiful and we can’t wait to go back.

Park City

We started our morning with Harper’s favorite breakfast— a free hotel buffet!

She wanted me to take her picture with yogurt all over her face.

Next we drove to Park City Mountain Village.

We rode a ski lift up the mountain

and took the Alpine slide back down!

She really did enjoy it although it doesn’t look that way in this picture.

We played mini golf

and mined for gems.

There was a playground

and we cooled off with shaved ice.

Harper’s favorite thing was the Alpine coaster.  It reached speeds of 30 mph and she screamed “Wheeeeeeeeee” and giggled all the way down the mountain.

We rode it 4 times!

We ate lunch at Baja Cantina.  While we waited for our food, Harper drew a picture of houses on mountains.

We rode a gondola up into the mountains.

We were high above the trees.

The view was spectacular!

We loved Park City!

We met Christy and Lexi at City Creek Center for shopping and dinner.

It was another super fun day in Utah!

SeaQuest Aquarium

Tonight we went to the SeaQuest Aquarium with Christy and Lexi.

We touched a starfish

and saw so many colorful fish.

There were many interactive tanks and Harper loved feeding the fish

and birds

and ducks.

Her favorite thing was petting the stingrays.

She thought it was so funny when this parrot was talking.

There were so many things to see and do!

We had so much fun at SeaQuest Aquarium.
