Stocksdale Park

Harper wanted to go hiking today, 

so we packed a picnic and went to Stocksdale Park.

Harper led us deep into the woods.

We saw butterflies, lots of mushrooms,

and even jumped over a little creek.

She loved the playground!

We had a great day at Stocksdale Park!

Gotcha Day 2019

Today we celebrated seven years of giggles!  Seven years of snuggles!  Seven years of I Love Yous! Seven years of complete happiness with this little bundle of joy!

We continued our Gotcha Day traditions by

adopting a bear from Build A Bear.

As the doll was being stuffed, Harper was supposed

to jump so her bunny would be a very active one.

She jumped a lot, 

so I suppose this will be a very active bunny.

It was so much fun shopping for 

clothes and shoes for Princess Aubrey!

Next, we went to Hong’s Buffet for lunch.

Harper’s meal was only $4.95 and we definitely got our money’s worth!

She even saved room for ice cream.

Finally, Harper opened a new charm for her Pandora bracelet.

US Gymnastics Championships 2019

Tonight we attended the US Gymnastics 

championships at the Sprint Center.

We had great seats closest to the beam 

(that is Simone Biles!!!)

and the floor exercise (Simone again!)

Harper pretended to be a hot dog

and Ashley did too!! (Pretty sure I’ll get in trouble for blogging this photo😀)

It was so amazing to see an event like this in person!

Kansas City Zoo

The weather was cool today, 

so we went to the Kansas City Zoo.

Harper loved the penguins

and the sea lion show.

We played on the playground

and found macaroni and cheese for lunch!

In the Australia section, the kangaroos were

hopping around with us.  Harper kept her

distance from them while she posed.

We found lots of slides

and looked at some animals too!

We spent quite a bit of time petting the stingrays

and rode the sky safari over Africa!

The view was great!  

We loved seeing the giraffes and zebras up close!
