We started our road trip on Friday night.
Driving through Council Bluffs, we had to
stop at Fazoli’s for dinner!
We saw the most beautiful rainbow!
Harper’s tummy was full and it didn’t take
long before she fell asleep.
The next day, we explored Sioux Falls.
We started with a trip to Flyboy Donuts!
Then we checked out Falls Park.
The waterfalls were so pretty!
Harper loves Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives so we ate at one of the featured restaurants, Look’s Marketplace.
Harper picked the chicken lo mein. It was so tasty!
We did some shopping and checked out the downtown Sculpture Walk.
On our drive, we hit so many bugs that we had to stop at Walmart and buy wiper fluid.
When we found out that the World’s Largest Dilly Bar was 10 minutes from our Fargo hotel, we had to venture into Minnesota to see it!
When I was a toddler, my family used to go to DQ for Dilly Bars until one day I announced, “I hate dilly bars!”
We skipped the ice cream
because we wanted to check out
Scoop n Dough Candy Co.
They have lots of flavors of edible cookie dough.
We got a flight of cookie dough with 8 different flavors! Our favorites were peanut butter cup and lemon cookie.
We spent some time relaxing in the hotel pool.
The next day, we tried another Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives restaurant called Pounds.
Of course, Harper picked the Mac & Cheese which she
said was “the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten!”
Ashley’s sandwich was so huge, she had to employ Guy Fieri’s famous hunch.
We had such a great time in Fargo!
