Independence Day 2018

We started off our holiday by watching the

Kearney Fireworks show.  Harper stayed awake

this year but she was more interested in her iPad than the fireworks.

On July 4, we spent the day at Oceans of Fun.

We grilled burgers and hot dogs for dinner

then went outside to shoot fireworks.

Harper LOVED shooting them!

 

Happy Independence Day!

Dagg Park

After church today, we packed a picnic and headed to Dagg Park in North Kansas City.

Harper loved the sprayground








and the playground too!

It was a perfect day at the park!

Tee Ball Summer 2018

Harper just finished another season of tee ball.

She was much more independent this year

and her hitting, fielding and throwing all improved.

Her favorite part was getting shaved ice after the games!

Royals Game 2018

Last night we went to a KC Royals game.

Harper’s favorite part was playing at the Little K.

There was plenty to see and do.

We had a great time cheering for the Royals!

Oceans of Fun 2018

Harper was very excited for our first trip to

Oceans of Fun this year!  She was so excited that she 

woke me up at 3:15 am to remind me that it 

was Oceans of Fun day!

Harper was much braver in the water this year

swimming way out in the deep water

and even playing in the wave pool.

She went down the "big" slides

and loved the little slides too.

After a lot of swimming, she was ready for a snack.  This year they have added one of her favorite snacks to the menu-- watermelon! 

We had a great time at Oceans of Fun!
