July 4, 2021

We had a blast on July 4!

We dressed in red, white, and blue for church.

then spent most of the day in the pool.

There was a cannonball competition!

We cooled off with popsicles 

and frozen drinks!

We played board games

and finally it was time for fireworks.  

The girls started with poppers

and chased the parachutes.

Harper loved the smoke bombs

and all the fireworks that shot way up in the sky!

It was a great day!

Fun in June!

We had so much fun in June!

We had breakfast at Shack where Harper ordered The King Lives— pancakes with bananas, peanut butter drizzle, chocolate chips and bacon on them!

Harper loved writing her name on the wall!

Much of June was spent in summer school.  Harper made a lot of new friends and had fun with old friends too!

She played soccer with The Rays.

She learned so much this season!

Coach Rebecca was amazing!

Such a fun group of kids!

We spent time at Oceans of Fun!

where Harper devoured a strawberry covered funnel cake!

Harper participated in the KHS youth cheerleading clinic.

We went to the Penguin Pyro demo night at Big Kel’s house.

The were plenty of cool evenings this June, 

so we spent time playing outside.

We went to Stocksdale Park for a picnic

and playtime

and biking

and hiking!

We had a fantastic June!

Easter 2021

This Easter season was packed with fun.

We made Rice Krispie bird nests

 decorated eggs

and made M & M cookies too!

The Easter Bunny brought a basket of goodies

and Harper picked cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs and ham for breakfast.

We got dressed up for church.

This year it was drive-in style for Easter.

The kids got a goodie bag with a “ scavenger hunt” in it.  Harper had fun checking key words off the list when the pastor said them.

There were coloring sheets,crayons, mazes, 

crossword puzzles and candy too!

After church, Ashley came up and we had a big lunch!

We opened gifts

and played with sidewalk chalk.

It was a perfect day to fly a kite

and play pickleball.

We had dinner at Jose Peppers

then went for a walk around the neighborhood.  

We had a very happy Easter!
