Tulsa Zoo and more!

Today we went to the Tulsa Zoo.

Harper was really interested in reading all the animal facts.

The giraffes were our favorites!

They were really close and there was a baby!

There was a huge playground!

The first time we walked by this tortoise, we thought it was fake.  When we came back an hour later, it had moved!

Next, we went to the Center of the Universe.  Here is the description: The Center of the Universe is one of the most unique attractions in the city of Tulsa. Its strange quality lies in that it can strangely change the sound of your voice if you stand directly at the center of its 30-inch cement circle. The speaker's voice assumes a vibrating nature that can be heard by the speaker alone. There is also no established explanation regarding what causes this unusual phenomenon.
We thought there would be a plaque or something, but it
isn’t marked at all.  It’s just a random circle in the middle of the sidewalk in downtown Tulsa.  We never would have noticed it if another family hadn’t pointed us in the right direction.  The bricks are even all broken up.
We laughed because it was kind of lame.

Harper had fun yelling into it anyway!
We had lunch at Harper’s favorite (McAlister’s)

then headed to Fort Smith for a lazy afternoon in the pool.

After her swim, Harper warmed up outside in the hot tub.

She chose Friday’s for dinner because they had mac and cheese and green beans!

Another fun filled day!
