Easter 2016

Harper was very excited to dye eggs this year.
She wanted to do it all by herself!
Harper colored on all of the eggs with a black crayon.
Ashley and I tried to show her to use a clear crayon and then dye the egg.
She said, "No can see that.  I use black."
She wanted to remove the eggs from the dye all by herself too.
This is my "Please don't splatter that dye all over my kitchen" face.
It was a fun night dyeing eggs!
On Easter morning, Harper was in the middle of brushing her teeth
and getting dressed after her shower, when she suddenly
remembered that the Easter bunny had come.
She was a bit cranky before church and
did not want her picture taken.
She attended the church service with me rather than
going to Sunday school and she was quiet and still.
It was a great Easter!

Peppa Pig!

Today Harper and I went to the Midland Theater
to see the Peppa Pig show.
Harper loves watching Peppa on her iPad.
She was so excited and danced and cheered throughout the show.
Cameras weren't allowed, but I snapped a couple of pics with my phone.
We had lots of fun at the Peppa Pig show!

73 degrees in February!

We spent most of the day outside
enjoying 73 degree temperatures in February!
We played in the sand
and on the swingset.
The four wheeler broke down and Harper
pushed it all the way back to the barn by herself.
We went to the park
and then to Sheridan's for ice cream.
After a long winter, we needed a day like this!

Wonderscope Children's Museum & lunch at Fritz's

There was no work or school today because of the
Martin Luther King holiday, so we decided to go play at Wonderscope.
Harper loved picking carrots in the garden.
There was a veterinary play area.
Harper loved checking in her patients on the computer.
She gave her animals a thorough checkup
and checked their weight on the scale.
Harper has such an active imagination.
She played at this little dollhouse for quite a while.
The Lego room was a big hit too.
She learned about gravity and energy in the Raceways exhibit.
We played with the trains
then went to Fritz's to eat lunch.

Harper's 5th Birthday

Harper's 5th birthday was a success!
We had her party at The Kidz Playground.
She was so excited to see her friends!
The kids climbed
and ran and jumped
and played.
There were presents
and cake.
Later, we opened more presents at home.
There was more time to play
and we needed some time to rest.
We had dinner with Grandma, because it was her birthday too!
Everyone had a great birthday!
