73 degrees in February!

We spent most of the day outside
enjoying 73 degree temperatures in February!
We played in the sand
and on the swingset.
The four wheeler broke down and Harper
pushed it all the way back to the barn by herself.
We went to the park
and then to Sheridan's for ice cream.
After a long winter, we needed a day like this!

Wonderscope Children's Museum & lunch at Fritz's

There was no work or school today because of the
Martin Luther King holiday, so we decided to go play at Wonderscope.
Harper loved picking carrots in the garden.
There was a veterinary play area.
Harper loved checking in her patients on the computer.
She gave her animals a thorough checkup
and checked their weight on the scale.
Harper has such an active imagination.
She played at this little dollhouse for quite a while.
The Lego room was a big hit too.
She learned about gravity and energy in the Raceways exhibit.
We played with the trains
then went to Fritz's to eat lunch.

Harper's 5th Birthday

Harper's 5th birthday was a success!
We had her party at The Kidz Playground.
She was so excited to see her friends!
The kids climbed
and ran and jumped
and played.
There were presents
and cake.
Later, we opened more presents at home.
There was more time to play
and we needed some time to rest.
We had dinner with Grandma, because it was her birthday too!
Everyone had a great birthday!

Christmas 2015

Harper was very excited for Christmas morning this year!
After she woke up, she immediately asked to go downstairs.
She ran to see what Santa brought.
Harper had asked Santa for a Puppy Surprise doll.
Some other favorite gifts were her own mailbox
an Elsa cape and mask
Doc McStuffins legos
and a Mickey Mouse bowling set.
She loved her Frozen karaoke machine
and loved driving her car to get the mail.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we baked cookies for Santa!
Harper was so excited to use the mixer.
She rolled out the dough
and cut the cookies.
Harper carefully placed the cookies on the pan.
Soon, we were ready to decorate!
Our candy cane looked great!
Santa, the cookies are ready!
