Another busy day!

We had another great day of vacation!

Harper loves the complimentary hotel breakfast.

All of that food that looks like it is on my half of the table, is really her food!

We started our day with a visit to Foley Kids Park.

There was lots of climbing

and crawling

and bell playing.

There were bridges to cross

and barns to play in.

Even Zeebs got a turn!

After the park, we headed to Gulf Bowl.

It was Harper's first time bowling.

She did great!

She cheered a lot!

There was an arcade, so we played some games.

 

 

After shopping at the Outlet Mall, we stopped at Lambert's for lunch.

The original Lambert's is in Sikeston, Missouri but we have never eaten there.

Lambert's is the home of "throwed rolls".

Yes, that blur next to Harper's left hand is the roll she didn't catch.

She decided to protect her face instead!

Luckily, there was an abundance of rolls.

She ate the entire roll plus chicken strips, french fries, applesauce, and corn!

 

Orange Beach Day 3

Today we spent another relaxing day at the beach!

Harper loved laying down and letting the waves crash into her.

One couple asked me, "Do y'all live near the beach? 

She seems so comfortable in the ocean."

We had a picnic lunch

and ran and ran

and played in the sand.

Harper's favorite song is called Cake By the Ocean

so we decided to eat cake by the ocean!

When I suggested we should get out of the sun for a bit,

Harper said, "I no hear you!"

I convinced her to play in a shady area of the pool for a while.

We found a fun spot called Lulu's for dinner.

There was live music and fun games.

 The food was excellent and we got to eat outside.

We are making lots of memories on our beach vacation!

More Fun in Orange Beach

This morning we went to the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo.

Harper's favorite part was feeding the animals.

In the past, she has been scared to get too close.

Today, she was very excited to feed the animals!

There were lots of animals to feed, but Harper 

spent most of her time with the alpacas.

Another favorite was when we got to hold a baby kangaroo!

After the zoo, it was time for the beach.

The waves were not small, but she wasn't afraid.

Harper ran

and made a lot of sand castles.

She laughed

and splashed me!

Harper LOVED the ocean!

Orange Beach Alabama

Today we flew to Orange Beach, Alabama.

Ashley was leaving for a business trip to Canada  and 

coincidentally was on the same departure flight!

We all flew to Atlanta, then Ashley went on to Nova Scotia

and Harper and I flew into Pensacola.

It was so much fun traveling with Harper.

She talked to everyone, so we made lots of friends!

As we boarded the plane, Harper greeted every single person!

She made a friend while waiting to board too.

It was late afternoon by the time we got settled in at the hotel,

so we decided to go for a swim.  Part of the pool is zero entry

and Harper loved swimming there.

She splashed

and made another friend!

We had so much fun!

We finished our day with dinner at Tacky Jack's.

We can't wait for more fun tomorrow!

Fun times with Lexi!

Aunt Christy and Cousin Lexi were in town over the weekend.

The girls had a great time coloring

 and shopping

and playing dress-up!

We can't wait for them to come back and visit again later this summer!
