Four Years Together!

Currently, one of my favorite songs is Better Place by Rachel Platten.  It says, 

I'll tell the world, I'll sing a song
It's a better place since you came along
Since you came along
Your touch is sunlight through the trees
Your kisses are the ocean breeze
Everything's alright when you're with me

Harper brings so much joy to my life.  Whether she is exclaiming, 

"You my best friend Momma!" or saying
"I love you too!" before I even tell her that I love her,

she is a constant source of happiness!

Yesterday marked our 4 year anniversary.

We started off the day by looking at pictures 

from the first time we met

and later opened some presents.

Each year on this date, we go to Build A Bear to adopt a stuffed animal.

Harper got her 4th charm for her Pandora bracelet

and we had dinner at a Chinese buffet.

Harper was very excited by all of the fruit on the buffet. 

She ate all of the food on this plate and we went back to fill another one.

I'm not sure if she enjoyed the crab rangoon (I cut her off

after she ate four of them) or the ice cream more!

Fun in July

July has been a busy month for us. Here is some of the fun we had!

We spent some time at the park

 

and did plenty of swimming.

We celebrated Lexi and Ashley's birthdays

 

and celebrated Ashley's birthday again on the 19th!

 

Harper thought the napkin was a scarf!

Harper continued gymnastics class

and got to meet Sluggerrr!

We had lots of fun in July!

Tiffany Springs Water Park

Harper and I spent the day at Tiffany Springs Water Park.

 

 

As you can see, we had a great day!

Tee Ball!

Harper started playing tee ball!

First, the team practiced throwing

and catching.

Harper was a bit afraid of the ball.

This one hit her in the face.

She was fine and kept on playing.

 She paid attention and was ready to field the ball.

(At least that is how it appears in this picture.... 

most of the time she was talking!)

Soon, it was her turn to bat.

Daddy got her all lined up

and she hit the ball!

After the game, the team had snacks.

As we walked back to our cars,  Harper said, "I had fun tee ball!"

 

 

Fun on a long weekend

The weather was great over Memorial Day weekend, 

so we spent lots of time outside!

Harper loved playing at Lyla's house.

We ate lunch outside

and played on the playground at Harper's new school.

I'm hoping the transition to kindergarten 

will be easier if she is familiar with the school.

We had time to swim

and Lyla came over to swim too!

What a fun weekend!

Families Blessed Picnic

On Sunday, Harper and I attended the

Families Blessed with the World's Children annual picnic.

There were lots of games

and bubbles!

Harper loved the playground.

She really LOVED catching up with her friend, Allie.

The ice cream truck came!

Harper chose a Sponge Bob popsicle.

It melted right away, but she was able to get a lot of it on her 

pretty white shirt before it splatted on the ground.

It was a perfect day to picnic with friends!

Last Day of Pre-K

Friday was Harper's last day of Pre-K.

The class sang some songs.

Harper loved the songs with choreography.

She was so excited to sing for us.

Then it was time to say goodbye.

Ms. Angela has been such a great speech therapist!

Harper has been with Mrs. Sara for the past 2&1/2 years.

She has absolutely changed Harper's life!

When Harper entered pre-k, she was not verbal at all.

Now she is a total chatterbox!

Harper's best friend, Sicilia, also really

helped draw Harper out of her shell.

We will miss Mrs. Sara and Sicilia so much!

We have been so blessed with this program!
